You’ll Never Guess What This Subpoena Is All About

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy expressed deep concern and frustration over the FBI’s failure to comply with a congressional subpoena during his recent appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

McCarthy, a Republican representative from California, emphasized the significance of this matter, stating that it is unacceptable and could pose serious consequences if left unaddressed.

He announced his intention to reach out to FBI Director Christopher Wray to seek clarification regarding the agency’s decision to withhold a document that allegedly contains evidence of a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden.

McCarthy highlighted the importance of congressional oversight, asserting that it is within their right to request information from the FBI. He also acknowledged Representative James Comer’s efforts in pursuing relevant information.

McCarthy stressed the need to uncover all the facts surrounding foreign financial transactions linked to the Biden family, questioning the purpose and legitimacy of these monetary exchanges.

Additionally, he raised concerns about foreign countries funneling millions of dollars into various LLCs connected to the Biden family, including his grandchildren. McCarthy posed the question, “What are they doing? Why is foreign money flowing while Biden is in office?”

Host Pete Hegseth echoed McCarthy’s concerns, drawing attention to the astonishing number of 170 suspicious activity reports associated with Biden. Hegseth remarked, “One report alone is troubling, but having that many raises serious suspicions. Why would the FBI withhold this information? It seems like they are protecting someone. As members of Congress, it is our responsibility to exercise oversight over the FBI. If they believe they can withhold information from us, it raises serious concerns about the integrity of our system.”

Chairman Comer, from the House Oversight Committee, subpoenaed the FBI for the document known as the FD-1023 form. The subpoena was initiated based on information provided by a whistleblower, alleging that the FBI and Justice Department possessed a document outlining a criminal scheme involving Joe Biden and a foreign national. The document is said to detail monetary exchanges for policy decisions.

Despite the deadline set for Wednesday at noon, the FBI failed to comply with the request, citing confidentiality concerns and the need to protect sources and methods crucial to national security. However, their response did not include the requested documents, leaving room for further speculation and doubt.

These recent developments have come to light following the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s press conference, where new information regarding the Biden family’s foreign business dealings was revealed. Chairman Comer described this as a critical moment, emphasizing the importance of holding the Bidens accountable.

As this story unfolds, it is essential for the American people to stay informed and demand transparency from their leaders. Fox News will continue to bring you the latest updates on this matter as we strive to uphold the principles of accountability and justice.
