It has also been reported that Loren worked on the Biden-Harris campaign as a director of the digital persuasion, raising further questions about impartiality in the case.
While Loren had worked with the Kamala Harris campaign, she also served as the vice president of Authentic Campaigns, a digital agency that raises “hundreds of millions of dollars for progressive campaigns” through digital persuasion programs. The company was also heavily involved in Harris’ campaign and served as her main digital vendor.
As the judge’s daughter, Loren’s ties to the Democratic Party have created a conflict of interest in the legal proceedings, leading to concerns about the impartiality of Judge Merchan.
