Trump Reacts to Arraignment on TruthSocial; McCarthy Promises to Hold DA Accountable
Following his arraignment in Manhattan, former President Donald Trump immediately took to TruthSocial to share his thoughts on the case. Trump highlighted the opinions of legal experts from both sides of the political spectrum, who have said that there is “no case here.”

In his first post, Trump wrote, “Just lifted off for Palm Beach, Florida. Will be delivering remarks tonight at Mar-a-Lago at 8:15 P.M., EASTERN. The hearing was shocking to many in that they had no ‘surprises,’ and therefore, no case. Virtually every legal pundit has said that there is no case here. There was nothing done illegally!”
He also shared his perspective on the day’s events, mentioning the cost of the NYPD presence and the 9th Circuit Court’s recent ruling in his favor. Reactions to this historic day have been pouring in, with Speaker McCarthy vowing to hold far-left DA Alvin Bragg accountable for what he views as politicized charges against Trump.
