Here’s what the president wants…

In light of Nancy Pelosi confirming that she will send the articles of impeachment to Senate, on a recent airing of Fox’s “Ingraham Angle,” President Trump admitted that he would “like a trial” in the Senate to call several witnesses.

According to Breitbart, Trump said, “I would love to ask a couple of their people some questions, like Schiff.

He then added that the length of time that impeachment lasts for “depends, if they have a trial, it probably takes a few days, or a week, and — or unless we want to have a bigger trial, where we bring in the whistleblower, which I’d love to do. And I’d love to bring in the informant who disappeared. I’d love to bring in the second whistleblower who disappeared. I’d love to bring in the inspector general.”

Trump added, “Well, in many ways, I’d like a trial, and I’d love to have sleepy Joe Biden, I’d love to have his son.” You can watch a clip of Trump’s comments here.

  1. I don’t think there is an appetite for a long drawn out trial in the Senate. We are pretty sick of the back and forth where neither side wins. The Democrats have made something out of nothing and it needs to be laid to rest as quickly and smoothly as possible.
