One state is perhaps only one week away from dealing a devastating blow to those who support the slaughter of unborn children.
In the state of Missouri there is only one functioning abortion clinic left standing and that may well change by the end of the week.
A Planned Parenthood official noted in a teleconference that the current license for the single facility in St. Louis will expire on Friday. If the license doesn’t get renewed Missouri will become the first state without such a clinic since 1973 when Roe v. Wade was decided.
“This is not a drill,” said Dr. Leana Wen, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. “This is not a warning. This is real and it’s a public health crisis.”
Things are looking good for the clinic after state officials cited the need to review “a large number of possible deficiencies” within the facility.
It’s a consequence Planned Parenthood will have brought on itself. The state had asked to interview seven physicians from the facility but the organization shared that only two physicians would consent to being interviewed.
