The crisis at the southern border continues to escalate as two migrants recently lost their lives in a suspected human smuggling attempt. Uvalde, TX Mayor Don McLaughlin appeared on Fox News’s “Fox and Friends” to issue a warning to President Biden about the dangerous situation.
Mayor McLaughlin expressed his frustration with the lack of action from the administration and asked, “How many lives have to be lost” before something is done? He went on to criticize the Democrats for ignoring the problem and pretending that everything is under control.
The situation at the border is far from sanitized, as some politicians would have you believe. The reality is that law enforcement officers and first responders are putting their lives on the line every day to deal with the high-speed pursuits and dangerous situations that come with illegal immigration.
It’s time for the Biden administration to take action and address this crisis. Lives are at stake, and it’s clear that the current policies are not working. We need real solutions that will secure our border and protect our citizens.
