The entire nation has been throughly questioning Cook County prosecutor Kim Foxx as the one responsible for dropping all charges against actor Jussie Smollet. Looking for a way to shake off some of the scrutiny, Foxx is now suggesting that she is being the target of racist/sexist attacks.

Foxx made the implication while speaking at a  Chicago event hosted by Jesse Jackson.

“I have been asking myself for the last two weeks what is this really about,” The Associated Press reports Foxx saying.

“As someone who has lived in this city, who came up in the projects of this city to serve as the first African American woman in this role, it is disheartening to me,” she continued, “that when we get in these positions somehow the goalposts change.”

So somehow it’s Foxx’s appointment to the position of prosecutor as an African-American woman that is causing the backlash, not the dismissal of charges against a man who made false claims of a racist hate crime.

Odd how Foxx wasn’t even a known entity before this particular event occurred. It anything she is the one guilty of misdirection as she tries to draw attention away from the calamity that the Smollett case has made.

  1. When criticized racism is usually the first thing they claim in their defense. Why, because they get away with it every time. Maxine Waters is a perfect example of a system gone wrong. All the others follow her and sharpenton examples. Gary
