In a surprising turn of events, the mayor of Austin, Texas, warned that his city has just two weeks to slow down the spread of coronavirus before their hospitals are completely overrun.
According to the Washington Examiner, “I think that we’re probably — depending on whether or not we have impacted the trajectory, and we won’t know that, but the conduct in our city started changing about two weeks ago. But if we don’t change the trajectory, then I am within two weeks of having our hospitals overrun. And in our ICUs, I could be 10 days away from that,” Mayor Steve Adler told CNN.
