Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida has reported Jane Fonda to the Capitol Police for a potential threat after Fonda appeared to suggest that pro-life politicians should be subject to “murder” during an appearance on “The View.”
Fonda made the remarks during a segment discussing the US Supreme Court’s decision to return the issue of abortion to individual states.
Following the show, Luna took to Twitter to demand Fonda and “The View” issue a full retraction of Fonda’s “sickening call to murder pro-life politicians.”
Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas also responded on Twitter, calling Fonda’s remarks “incitement.”
Fonda later released a statement to Fox News Digital, saying her comments were “obviously made in jest” and that she was using “hyperbole to make a point.”

Fonda’s long history of left-wing activism and controversial behavior should not excuse her from being held accountable for her words and actions.
