Nicholas Sandmann is the 16-year-old teen who became embroiled in the Lincoln Memorial controversy after media falsely depicted him as a racist villain. Now Sandmann is fighting back against the media and he’s not holding back.
Sandmann has now filed a defamation lawsuit against the Washington Post and he’s not looking for lunch money.
The teen is seeking $250 million in damages in the case filed in the U.S. District Court of Kentucky. That sum is what Amazon founder Jim Bezos paid to acquire ownership of the Washington Post back in 2013.
Details of the lawsuit claim that the paper “wrongfully targeted and bullied” Sandmann to further it’s campaign that President Donald Trump incites racism and hate. The lawsuit alleges the teen had been singled out for being a Catholic white male in a MAGA hat at a pro-life rally.
Kristine Coratti Kelly, the Washington Post’s VP for Communications, issued a response to the laws suit saying that “We are reviewing a copy of the lawsuit and we plan to mount a vigorous defense.”
Like similar fake news stories about manufactured racism, Liberals and their media hounds look like they may finally be getting what’s coming to them.
