The emails show that Hunter referred to Eric Schwerin, his business partner, as a “close confidant and counsel” to Joe Biden.
The New York Post reported that Schwerin asked Hunter to review a letter of recommendation he had written for Joe Biden, emphasizing the close relationship between the Bidens and their business associates.
Although Joe Biden claims he has “never spoken” with Hunter about their overseas interests, other emails indicate that Schwerin was involved in the family’s finances, even managing money for both Joe and Hunter Biden.
Hunter Biden’s personal life has also raised concerns, as he has fathered a child with a stripper and had a romantic relationship with his late brother’s widow.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware is investigating Hunter Biden’s “tax affairs.” Additionally, CNN reported that investigators are looking into whether Hunter and his associates broke tax and money laundering laws in dealings with Chinese companies.
House Oversight Committee Chairman and Tennessee Rep. James Comer announced on Fox News that his committee has gained access to President Joe Biden’s banking documents, which may include transactions involving Hunter Biden.
This news follows the committee’s subpoena of more bank records from the Bank of America earlier this week.
